Malibu Brigade isn't here to defend against fire or fight it. We're here to help a community learn to live with it — respectfully, knowledgeably, and together. Wildfire belongs in this landscape. Our work is making sure our homes and our blocks belong here too.
The vision
A community that lives with fire.
Living with fire doesn't mean fire-proof. It means a place where wildfire can pass through, embers can land, and the community is still standing — because the structures resist ignition and the neighbors know their landscape, their homes, and each other.
